Can Certis perform YourPDX testing if I’ve recently been treated, or I am currently undergoing treatment for cancer?

In most cases, yes, Certis can perform YourPDX testing if an individual has been recently treated, or undergoing treatment for cancer. In fact, most individuals we serve are being treated with a current standard of care therapy(s) while we develop their personalized mouse avatars for functional oncology drug sensitivity testing. An exception is if you recently have had radiation treatments at the site from which a fresh tissue biopsy needs to be taken (within 10 weeks). Radiated tumor tissue will rarely engraft in mice.1
